Skipping stones at the shore of Encinitas, a melancholy Julian contemplates life thus far, and adventures yet to come…

A friendly Hummingbird lifts Julian into the air and carries him over the sea, but as time passes, the weight of Julian’s sorrows becomes too much for the poor creature to bear, and together, they tumble from the sky…

Julian slowly awakens from the crash, his body stinging with pain. He crawls down from the myriad of branches that broke his fall, struggling to right himself. Luckily, Deb the friendly mutt trots by, and knows all about Licking Imaginary Wounds…

Let’s Go, Julian! From afar, a voice calls out to our fallen hero, who at last musters the strength to journey onwards…

Following the voice out of the forest, he meets The Legendary Zaq Babylon, who spins tales of a great rock concert in a magical barn, the likes of which the world has never seen before!

A young boy named Anders Wanders into Julian and Zaq, claiming to know of a secret path to the barn...

But Anders, young and naïve, is blissfully unaware that his route cuts straight through the treacherous Puzzle Feet mountain pass. The perilous trek leaves all three famished…

At the trail’s end, the smell of cookies permeates the air – everyone knows that Daddy’s Baking Co. has the best treats…

Their appetites alleviated, the trio reaches the barn, only to find the stage overrun by the most dubious crime boss in all the land - the Crime Dog! But, just as the day seems lost, the sweet sound of Dom the Penguin’s appletini-laced singing subdues the villain and saves the show!

Their journey complete, Julian, Zaq, and Anders leave the barn for a nearby train station. But their parting proves bittersweet. An eccentric old man approaches our heroes and recounts the escapades of a childhood friend, gone before his time. In the corners of Julian’s mind, a faint tune stirs… a tune For Danny Brown.
